Things to know before Waxing
To ensure a better service, please make sure you have approximately ¼ inch growth – about 2 – 3 week’s, then, one or two days prior to the service you should exfoliate any area/s to be waxed and avoid sun/tanning, the day of the appointment avoid moisturizers and anti-perspirant/deodorants on areas to be waxed. It is a good idea to trim hair longer than ¼” for your own comfort and for a more efficient service. Not all Bikini waxes are Brazilian style unless specified at the time the appointment is scheduled.
After care, common sense. Do not tan or expose recently waxed areas to direct sun, spray tan or anti-perspirant/deodorants for 24 hours. In areas where it is preferred that the hair does not return, consider the Anti-Growth Serum in spa and at home.
You may not be a good candidate for waxing services if you are using, or have recently used Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners, alpha hydroxyl products or have high anti-biotic use. Diabetes, pregnancy, sunburn, menstruation and a pre-disposition to cold sore may also heighten sensitivity.
